Tara gets a note that terrorists know where Amanda lives, Amanda's dad wants help in communicating with Amanda. Myles gives Nora an idea for her book, she wants to focus on Amanda and get to know Myles.

Santiago refuses to tell the Safety Patrol how he did the trick due to the Magician's Code, but by doing so, he makes himself the prime suspect. Dewey is anxious to get his robotic dog back as it's a stepping stone to getting a real dog. However, when Barcode's collar is found in the lake, all hope could be lost—for both Dewey and Santiago.

Captain Black's true good side is able to ward off the influence of the mask for a while, but the dark power of the oni begins to slowly corrupt and take hold of him. When the darker oni Captain Black finally emerges, he attempts to take advantage of his full access to Section 13. Jackie, Jade, Uncle, and Tohru race to work on a way to keep the other three stored masks away from Black as they search for the ingredient needed to perform a removal spell.
