Season 1, Episode 7
Sarge is on an undercover mission at a mutant bar, pretending to be a stripper while she gets close to the grotesquely obese Sluggo. Inside the chest of the fat mutant is a pod containing the only known map of the entire underground system. Sarge charms her way near enough to attack Sluggo's bodyguards, then reaches into his chest and retrieves the pod. She runs, but a collar around her neck will detonate within ten minutes. In the levels above, Voice tells Hel to send Cleo down below to rescue Sarge, against Cleo's wishes. Mauser helps prepare Cleo by linking the computer to her brain and her weapons gauntlets. Cleo runs through various scenarios in her mind, each of which ends with Sarge's death. Finally, she must leave on the rescue mission, but now she is prepared for each obstacle. Hel follows and although Cleo rescues Sarge, they both need a hand from Hel to finish the mission. And once again, teamwork has won the day.

When a long-distance call to Chico, California shows up on Becker's phone bill, he decides to dispute the charge. He even disputes the existence of the town, claiming that it's just a code word that the phone company uses for bogus charges. Margaret warns Becker not to fight the phone company, after all, "they're like God with computers," but Becker persists. Meanwhile, Reggie is upset when she isn't invited to a friend's wedding, and Bob listens to motivational tapes in order to land a job.

Greg is in a bind when a doctor leaves the clinic just before it is to undergo an inspection. Felicity volunteers her father for the assignment. She discovers that Dr. Porter is taking anxiety pills, and that he quit his job at the hospital weeks earlier. Dr. Porter explains that he never wanted to take the job in the first place; he misses his wife desperately, and hoped that she would ask him to come home. Noel tells Ruby that he cannot get over the fact that she is carrying someone else's child. He offers his friendship. Tracy annoys Elena with his cockiness as they prepare for an exam. After they both receive outstanding scores, Elena agrees to go out with him. Ben continues to mope about Felicity's close working relationship with Greg. He reluctantly goes on a date, but cannot stop thinking about Felicity. He goes to the clinic to share his feelings. A new generation of spy satellite crashes down to earth in downtown LA. The FBI tells Amy that the only missing piece is extremely radioactive. If it is opened it could irradiate half the city. Involved in the bringing down of the satellite are the criminal cult Scorpio and their mysterious leader 'The One'. FBI agent Wick insists that Sammo and Grace are not to be allowed to participate in the case because they are both Chinese nationals and are probably Chinese spies. While this is going on Sammo is also trying to track down the whereabouts of his son, Lone Wei.
