However, on the evening of the opening, the hotel is raided and, mistaken as prostitutes, Dorothy, Blanche and Rose are dragged off to jail.

The family is in the middle of a game of scrabble when Ellen stops by with a gift for Mama and to attempt to once again apologize for missing her Aunt Fran's funeral. Mama refuses to forgive her and throws her out. Later, Naomi comes in and says she heard that Ellen was in the hospital about to under go surgery. With that, Mama drags the rest of the family to the hospital to visit her. The visit soon turns very uncomfortable for Ellen as Mama begins yelling at the family for one and then another. Not able to stand it any longer, Ellen calls for the nurse and orders her to throw the family out and post an armed guard at the door. Mama finally sends everyone home, but sneaks back in herself and stays with Ellen through the night. Mama and Ellen soon forgive one another for all the years of fighting and Ellen finally reveals to Mama why she is the hospital in the first place, she's having a fanny tuck.

A fortyish reporter is at risk of losing her anchor position on a network evening news broadcast to a younger reporter. She hears about a special type of bottled water from a friend of hers. She orders some at a relatively low cost. It works. Yet she finds she must drink it every day in order to retain her youth. When she orders another 5-gallon container. The price jumps up to $200. She talks to the water deliveryman. He refers he to her as "girlie". She remarks "girlie" is an old term and asks for his actual age. He says something along the lines of "I don't think you'd want to know". She is halfway done with the second bottle and is tearing apart her place looking for items to pawn when her husband shows up. They have no kids. She explains what has happened and decides to end her dilemma by balancing their situations.

The Centurions

A truck containing some of the Earth's dwindling supply of silver is guarded by the Centurions on its way to Geneva. It soon comes under attack from a group of jet skiers. The Centurions stop and capture them, but Jake's Fireforce get-up has been monitored and duplicated by Amber and Hacker. Later, Amber disguises herself as Jake with Fireforce, and together with Hacker, steals the silver for Doc Terror's experiments. Jake is then captured by Hacker, and Amber tries to persuade him to join them. Jake escapes confinement, and with the other Centurions, attempts to retrieve the silver. Science Lesson: Snow by Jake.
