Challenge of the GoBots is an American animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera, based on the Gobots toy-line released from Tonka. The show originally debuted in animated form as a five-part miniseries, which aired in syndication from October 29 - November 2, 1984. A regular series followed the next year, premiering on September 16, 1985 as part of the new weekday/weekend morning programming block called The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera. The series was later rerun on the USA Cartoon Express.

Cobra uses a shuttle to steal all communication satellites. That means the only television network available is the Cobra Network Television which provides programs promoting their social messages such as Father's No Beast and new endings to classic movies. G.I. Joe first send three Joes up in Skystrikers powered by rocket boosters to take out Cobra's satellite. They discover that it is really a space station and are blasted back down to earth. Next they have a space training program to select a group of Joes to go back up. Their Skystrikers are destroyed again by the Space Station, but the group sneaks inside. Being better trained, they defeat the Dreadnoks and destroy the Space Station, escaping in a Cobra Shuttle, thus saving the wonderful world of television.

The Colbys is an American prime time soap opera, which originally aired on ABC from November 20, 1985 to March 26, 1987. Produced by Aaron Spelling, it was a spin-off of Dynasty, which had been the highest rated series for the 1984–1985 U.S. television season. The Colbys revolved around another wealthy, upper-class family, who were distant relatives of the Carringtons of Dynasty and who owned a large multi-national corporation. Intended to surpass its predecessor in opulence, the series' producers were handed an immensely high budget for the era and cast a handful of well-known movie stars among its leads, including Charlton Heston, Barbara Stanwyck, Katharine Ross and Ricardo Montalban. However, The Colbys was ultimately a ratings disappointment, and was canceled after two seasons.

After Miles introduces his new bride ""Randall"" to the family, Jeff is stunned when Fallon doesn't recognize him. Battle lines are immediately drawn between Miles and Jeff after Jeff reveals Randall's true identity. Constance calls in a psychiatrist to treat Fallon, who suggests the family accept her as Randall and not force her memory. Jeff calls Fallon's father, Blake, who flies to California to see her. However, when Fallon doesn't recognize him either, Blake entrusts Jason and Constance with looking out for Fallon before returning to Denver. Jeff has a chilly reunion with his mother, Francesca, as he's still bitter over her abandonment of him as a child. Francesca then reunites with her sister Sable and, later, with Jason, with whom she was once close. Jason's business rival, Zachary Powers, conveniently runs into Sable twice and hits on her, but she rejects his advances. A dying Jason tries to resolve his conflict with son Miles, to no avail. While on their way to visit Mark's friends, Jonathan lashes back at some bullies. Because of this, Jonathan gets recalled. When Mark reaches his friends, he inadvertently slips out a bit of info that leads his friends to reveal to their eldest daughter that she was adopted. She then sets out fo find her birth mother. She then discovers that her adopted mother is her birth mother. It seems that years ago, she got pregnant and her aunt, who was her guardian forced her into putting her baby up for adoption. When she married her husband, she told him that she couldn't have children, so they adopted her. And when their second daughter was born she said it was a miracle. The husband upon hearing of this decides to leave her and the younger daughter joins him. Mark tries to help him but he refuses. Later Jonathan appears to Mark and tells him to go somewhere, and it turns out to be at an abortion clinic, and Mark's friend arrests the protesters. When he tells Mark that he agrees with what the
