Dr. Brown faces one of the toughest moral decisions of his career when a distraught pregnant teenager (guest star Kate Mara) and her father (guest star Kevin Tighe) come to him for guidance about terminating her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Ephram is humiliated in front of the entire school when his date for the Spring Formal ditches him at the dance to make-out with her boyfriend. Lastly, Amy and Colin (Mike Erwin) have a huge fight when she chooses to console Ephram against Colin's wishes.

Speedle and Delko are present when a trendy nightclub catches fire, apparently from a DJ's pyrotechnics display, killing sixteen people and injuring dozens of others. But the ensuing investigation reveals it may have been arson to cover up a murder. Meanwhile, Horatio probes the death of a prostitute whose body is found in the bathroom of a judge's home and evidence suggests that she was in the club during the fire.

When her apartment gets infested with mice Natalie decides to move in with Flex. Jack has to give a deposition to clear his name of killing the chicken. Myles & Sue talk to Jerome who was convicted of two murders and had hoped Ben Taylor would clear his name and request a DNA sample and hope to match Jerome's DNA with the old evidence. Sue Myles look for cab drivers picture with an ""X"" drawn through the picture. Darcy tells Sue Myles and Bobby that the hunter wrote to a reporter but the letters were sold to someone. Logan learns that her dad did love her by keeping letters and pictures. Tim reads Darcy's article on the hunter case which leads him to think his dad is the hunter and says his dad was violent man and would recall seeing his dad clean himself up. Meanwhile, Helen finally tells Jack about Professor Witt's advance. Back in town, JJ's at home---with Beth while Henry's minding the North Philly store.
